The Deal Memorial Bandstand is a memorial to the 11 Royal Marine musicians who were killed in an explosion at their barracks in Deal on 22nd September 1989. It forms a ‘living’ Royal Marines Memorial to those who died and concerts are held regularly, with a series of summer concerts taking place each year on Sunday afternoons.
