Elvington and Eythorne Heritage Centre

Elvington and Eythorne Heritage Centre opened in March 2013. It developed following the formation of the Elvington and Eythorne Heritage Group, a group of local volunteers who research and archive the heritage of the villages of Eythorne and Elvington, along with the ancient parish of Waldershare and Tilmanstone Colliery. Funding was granted from Dover District Council and the Kent Coalfields Regeneration Trust.

Within the archives are vast amounts of images, maps, plans and memorabilia and many of these are on display in the Heritage Centre.

The Heritage Centre is located on the first floor of Elvington Community Centre.
