Kent Mining Museum tells the story of the Kent Coalfield from the discovery of coal to the closure of the mines. The museum uses the voices of the miners themselves and interactive exhibits to tell the story in an engaging and interactive way. The basement temporary exhibition space allows visitors to delve deeper into the lesser known stories of the coalfield.
