Princess of Wales’s Royal Regiment and Queen’s Regiment Museum

In the grounds of Dover Castle is the Princess of Wales’s Royal Regiment & Queen’s Regiment Museum.

The Princess of Wales’s Royal Regiment was formed in 1992, from the amalgamation of The Queen’s Regiment and The Royal Hampshire Regiment. We are the proud inheritor of a history extending back to the earliest beginnings of the British Army.

Come and discover our history, from 1661 right up to the Regiment’s recent operations in Iraq and Afghanistan, including one of the footballs kicked over the top by Billie Nevill and his men on the first day of the Battle of the Somme in 1916.
