If you would like to find out about Deal's amazing history in an entertaining and informative way, join George and The History Project team on a history walking tour along Deal seafront. When George isn't leading a tour, he is on a stage delivering a talk to a community group or inspiring the next generation in a local school. He has a wealth of experience and knowledge, and understands that a good guide entertains and informs, so his tours are great fun for people of all ages.

Why a tour of Deal? For a small town it has an incredible history. For starters the Romans arrived on our shores, the grandest castle Henry VIII ever built is in Deal and the town at one stage was one of the largest ports in the country... And that's not even mentioning the notorious sandbanks, the Goodwin Sands, and the thousands of shipwrecked treasures still waiting to be found just off the coast!

These tours are great fun for people of all ages - as entertaining as they are informative.
