The Royal Oak is a charming 19th century pub in the village of River near Dover in Kent. Formed from 18th century flint cottages we have been serving the village for over 150 years.

Our five rooms have been recently renovated to a high standard with walk-in showers, Egyptian cotton sheets as well as a Nespresso coffee machine in each room. We provide complimentary breakfast, and our chef prepares English dishes each evening with a light menu on Monday, Tuesday and Sunday.
