The nautically themed micropub, The Freed Man, was previously a post office. The popular micropub located in Walmer, offers quality ales, lagers and wine. Friendly atmosphere - a great place where people can come together.
They don't do food but you can use the chip shop next door or Hayman's Kitchen Pizzas and eat them in the bar; they even provide plates.
Thursday nights is ladies night where a free platter of nibbles is provided to go with your wine and catch-up with friends.
Their ethos is to move as far away from corporate chain pubs and brewery owned pubs as possible so expect products you rarely see on the high street.
